Tour 3 Ghadames, the pearl of the Sahara 7 days

The Libyan coast is very rich with superb ruins such as Sabratha, Leptis Magna, both classified by the UNESCO - in Tripoli, ancient Oea, some Roman ruins are still very attractive.

A bit far from the coast, at Djebel Nafusa, we discover the remains that the Berbers, the original inhabitants of this region and all mountains of the north African lands left for us as a heritage: Ksars, Underground loggia… (Troglodytes) Ghadames, the pearl of the desert is a world of wonders, dreams, serenity and fascination.

So let's discover the Antique Libya.

Itineraries

1st Day
Arrival to Tripoli
(From Tripoli Airport ). (over night).

2nd Day
TRIPOLI / LEPTIS MAGNA full day at the Roman site of LIBDA (LEPTIS MAGNA) and the museum. After that we move to TRIPOLI (over night).

3rd Day
Visit the old city of SABRATA and the museum. In the afternoon we move to GHARYAN (over night).

4th Day
In the morning we move to the SAHARIAN town of GHADAMES, passing by the mountain JABAL Al-GHARBI , YEFREN and JADO to arrive in the afternoon at GHADAMES (over night).

5th Day
Ghadames : Full day at GHADAMES.
Visit of the Medina (old city) which is called " Pearl of the Desert " and which is protected by the UNESCO.
Just before lunch at the Medina house, we visit the typical Touareg Museum.
In the afternoon, we drive to the sand dunes to admire a breath-taking sunset.

6th Day
Departure from GHADAMES to TRIPOLI passing by NALUT and visit of its fortress

7th Day
Visit the old city of TRIPOLI, the museum and the public markets then to airport for departure

Accommodation :
In Tripoli, Hotel Category ***** Bab Al Bahr or Grand Hotel.
In Ghadames, Oasis Hotel *** .

Meals :
The dinner will be taken at the Hotel Restaurants.
Lunch In Typical restaurants.
Picnic lunch en route to Ghadames and back.
